Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Please meet China, a JRT beauty who recently came to MAJR from a high kill shelter in Philadelphia. China was the name given to this sweetheart at the Philadelphia shelter, but she is so beautiful that her foster mom calls her "Bella," which means beautiful in Italian. Bella has a kind, sweet face, with very soulful brown/amber eyes. Her foster mom finds it so hard to believe she came to that Philadelphia shelter as a stray who was wandering the streets aimlessly, and then almost lost her life there.
Bella is 2-4 years old and currently about 20 pounds, which is a bit overweight for her frame. She is a short legged girl, with a soft caramel & white coat with beautiful markings, and an adorable spotted belly, which she will gladly roll over for you to rub. Bella is currently being fostered in a home with 6 other dogs and a cat - - 4 JRTs, 1 Dachshund, 1 Chihuahua, and THE CAT. Bella is a big time cat chaser and thinks cats are there just to be chased, so she would do best in a home without a cat. Bella fits right in with her foster canine siblings, has learned her place in the pack, and is very playful and fun loving. Bella is also very bright and eager to please her foster family. She learns commands quickly and walks well on a leash. Bella loves ice cubes, belly rubs and snuggling up against her foster parents for naps. She is also very fond of her doggy bed. She is a good sleeper at night in her sleeper crate with her furry bed & blanket, and furiously wags her little stub at any kind of attention.
China (Bella) is housetrained, up-to-date on her vaccines, spayed, microchipped, and ready for her new forever home!
Please do yourself a favor and meet this beautiful, sweet girl – she will be your faithful companion and love-bug forever!
