Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Oscar – Jack Russell Terrier mix. Approximate DOB 17 Feb 2014 and he has been neutered. A cat and dog rescue volunteer rescued Oscar from a questionable environment where he was always in the back yard and never allowed in the house. The family doesn’t have a good reputation with cats or dogs. When the volunteer asked about Oscar she was told the brother got him from a friend and brought him home. They made several comments about how much work dogs are. Oscar escaped the back yard one day and followed a neighbor who was walking her dog. The volunteer was able to catch Oscar but the family said they wanted him back. The volunteer explained to the family they should get an ID tag on him, get him neutered, and into a training class. After a few days, one of the sisters asked the volunteer if she could take him as they could not take of him. She said yes and turned him over to us. Oscar is definitely a Jack Russell puppy! He is full of energy and curious about everything he sees. He is not barky except when he hears a new sound or sees something new. He gets along with small and big dogs and just wants to run and play with everyone. We are still trying to get his vaccination records so we know what he needs and don’t over vaccinate. He is doing good at crate training but he is not trained to go outside yet. However, he is very smart and wants to please his people so he will learn very fast. He is ready for a loving family to give him a forever home.
