Date Posted: September 5, 2009 Shadow is a 2 year old male sugar glider. He eats a special 'sugar glider' food but also needs fruits, vegetables and dried cat food. He can also eat live insects, scrambled eggs, yogurt, nuts, fruit flavored pablum, monkey biscuits and fruit juices. . He is a nocturnal animal so be prepared for him to more active in the late evening and at night. Sugar gliders live in colonies so they do better in pairs but he was brought into rescue without a friend. If you have a glider it would have to be a slow introduction to make sure that they both get along. Please contact us at healingheartrescue@yahoo.com for more information.
