My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date Posted:July 6, 2009

Date Adopted:August 1, 2009

Adoption Donation:$150.00

All About Me: Shana's owner brought her to us today in a crate that was full of water. When we questioned him about it, he said he guessed she got wet last night in the rain. When we asked him her name, he said we could just name her what we wanted to! It is sad to think what kind of life she has had this far. Shana came into rescue with Sissy but they do not have to be adopted together. Shana is a spunky little girl that likes the company of her human friends.

Shana is a 1.5 year old Min Pin and Chihuahua mix.

All known information about our dogs is listed under notes. We do not know how big a puppy will grow to be in adulthood. Please research the particular breed to see if this pet may be a good choice as a new member of your family.

Your first step in adopting a new family member is to fill out the free online adoption application. The adoption form must be filled out completely with phone numbers and a vet reference before it will be processed. Your application will not be processed without this information.

We sometimes receive many applications on one dog. Our goal is to place the dog in the best home possible based on his/her needs, personality and past history. Please note that adoptions are NOT done on a first come, first serve basis, and filling out an application does not guarantee the adoption of any dog. We reserve the right to refuse any applicant for inaccurate or false information. We are looking for the best possible home for this animal. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
