Rufus's Story...
Rufus is a big ol' love bug. He is such a great dog - very obedient and fun to be around. He loves to hang out inside and be a couch potato but he also loves to take walks and runs a nice pace for a good jog. He's a big boy at 90 lbs and with that nice soft coat is just incredibly huggable. Rufus is one year old and has been neutered. He is housebroken and crate-trained. He is heartworm negative and up to date on all of his shots. He is on monthly heartworm preventative and frontline for fleas and ticks. He is even microchipped! We think you will absolutely love Rufus! Please let us know if you'd like to consider adopting him by writing to us at cedarfarm.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rufus, a Mocksville American Bulldog/St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/St. Bernard for sale in Mocksville, or seeking a American Bulldog/St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Mocksville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mocksville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mocksville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/St. Bernard breeders who help with American Bulldog/St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mocksville paves the way for another one to be saved.
