Chase's Story...
Chase (original name Smokey) is a German shepherd/Aussie mix and he's also a New Jersey pup. His family rescued him off the streets of New Jersey when he was just a small puppy, he was extremely sick when they found him and they spent thousands to save his life. They moved here to Mobile Alabama for job and school opportunities but quickly found themselves with an unfortunate tight schedule and lower income. Chase was crated most of the time for long periods of time cause his parents were so busy! With tears rolling down their faces they surrendered him to the City shelter in hopes that someone would adopt him and give him the love and time that he needed. He was extremely scared and confused at the shelter and we had to get him out. At ten months he's been through quite a bit and he needs your help.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chase, a Grand Bay German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
