Energetic, bouncy, affectionate with a trace of sassy is how Boss rolls. 3 years old & ready to take on the world! Cute as a button, with a smile from ear to ear! Seemingly smitten by your mere appearance. He’s true to his breeds possessing the curiosity of a Boston Terrier & the love of a Pitties heart. Bestowing you with the warmth of sweet puppy kiss.
Boss is an intelligent gent. Intensely he watches you for cues while listening to your every word. Familiar with sit & paw but longing to learn so much more. Since he enjoys his treats it’s very easy to gain his attention. He’d be sure to excel in any obedience class. Participating in some extra curriculum activity would also make his personality glow. Perhaps taking up agility would be a fun way to pass the time. Give his mind reasons to keep busy & he will be the happiest boy on earth. Grab his leash & explore nature! There is no better way to spend the day. His leash skills do need some polishing but with a little persistence & some consistency they will be shining. Just don’t let him out of your sight this little guy is quick!
Searching for a perfect new beginning. A place where cuddles are abundant, love flows freely & all your worries are washed away. Someone he can devote his life to. That special person who always makes his day. Boss would do well with the companionship of another pup as long as his go go go energy is accepted by the other pup. Cats are well beyond his comprehension & living with them is just not an option. He would do best with slightly older kids who can appreciate his up close & personal attitude. Note: As with all of our dogs, we strongly recommend obedience classes for new owner and dog to create a life-long bond with the adopted dog based on trust, respect and rewarding training experiences. We are offering dog training classes through FMAS Wagtime Dog Training. You can check out more information at www.fmaswagtime.com. We can help you train practical skills you use every day with positive reinforcement training. Our shelter dogs are strays and we observe and assess their behavior at the shelter which may be somewhat different in a home environment. In addition dogs adopted from the Manchester Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped and have received their Rabies and distemper vaccinations as well as other necessary medical care such as flea treatment. All dogs are also heartworm tested. Some prudent care such as heartworm medication is not provided at the shelter and should be taken care of at the earliest convenience upon adoption.
