Meet Cassidy!

Cassidy is a beautiful, 6 month old Pit Bull Mix. Her story is a little different, which only makes her that much more special. We found Cassidy on Craigslist for $20. She had a deformed, cleft paw and her current family no longer wanted her. Craigslist is a notorious stalking ground for dog fighters that look for bait dogs, especially the handicapped babies. We couldn’t leave her there to possibly get picked up by dog fighters. We immediately consulted with our vets and realized that not only was Cassidy's paw deformed, her leg was shorter than the rest of her legs. Our vets recommended that Cassidy have her entire leg removed in order to give her the best quality of life. Cassidy has made a full recovery and is doing amazingly well in her foster home! Cassidy runs like the wind, enjoys playing a game of fetch, LOVES meeting new people and is attracted to children like nobody’s business. She is a generous, smart, sweet, silly and fun loving puppy. Cassidy is crate, leash and potty trained. She is spayed, current on vaccinations and micro-chipped.

A home check, contract and adoption fee are required for Cassidy.
