Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Guest Pet-Sampson was rescued from a local animal control facility when he was approximately 4 months of age -brought in as a stray, malnourished -obviously abandoned. A plea was sent out to the rescues for this poor little pup... Sampson was confused and terrified; he would not bark, whine or react to stimulus, only hunch and cower, shaking in the back of his kennel. This baby boy had to be given a chance at a happy life, as he had already endured far too much at such a young age.Sampson is now thriving! He even shares kisses and accepts the attention you put upon him. Sampson loves all animals (pigs too!) and is beyond gentle with all of them. He seems to instinctively know when an animal is smaller or more fragile. (His best friend is a 7 week old Shih Tzu).Sampson is a Chocolate Labrador mix -neutered -current on his puppy series of vaccines, including his rabies and microchipped. He walks well on a leash/crate trained and will use potty pads or newspaper, if needed. Sampson is learning his basic puppy manners too -he is quite intelligent, very obedient and not at all an 'alpha' pup. Sampson enjoys spending time outdoors, and will need other animals for companionship.Available for meeting and adoption with an approved preadopt only!Inquiries please email Christine at info@southeastrescue.org .Learn more about Sampson.
