Comet's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Comet's Story...
How cute is Comet? He had a bad cold and demodex when he was rescued, but he is shaking that off and ready to go!! He was eight weeks old when he was rescued at the end of October, and is such a smart little guy!! He loves to play with the other dogs in his foster home, following them everywhere and learning the ropes (plus, you have to admit, he kind of looks like a reindeer)!! Comet will be ready for adoption towards the end of November.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Comet, a Jacksonville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
