Queenie, 7 Years Old
Queenie is a very sweet 7 year old pug. She loves to cuddle up with people and enjoys sleeping in their bed with them (sometimes under the covers). She does great with kids too!
She is an explorer and sometimes finds herself getting into stuff she should not be getting in to. You do have to keep an eye on her while eating as she can easily jump up on the kitchen table and try some of your food. She likes lasagna.
Queenie seems to get along with other dogs just fine as long as they don't get too excited. We weretold that she previously did not really like cats, but we have never introduced her to cats since we have been fostering her. She also loves to play with her toys!
She seems to be a bit of an escape artist & and maybe a slight flight risk. If given the split second chance, she will try to run out the door (between your legs) to get outside. She might do best with a home with a fenced in yard. We think she would run away and explore rather than just sit on the front step.
Overall, she a wonderful girl just looking for a new place to call home.
Update 9/23: Queenie will be on medical hold for approx 2 months. She is in heat and needs to be spayed! If you are interested in adoption fill out our application and by the time we get references checked and home visit done this sweet girl will be almost ready for adoption!!
