My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Schugga (aka Sugar Daddy) is ready for his forever home! He will do best in a home with no other pets but loves humans of all sizes! He will be the most obedient dog on the block for certain. He has been working for weeks with a train and board facility and has made significant progress. Schugga is happy, energetic and loves to make his human happy!

Sugar Daddy came to us from Ohio with glowing recommendations regarding his personality and health. His trainer indicates that he wants to please his person and easily attaches and loves. I can attest to this because I have spent a great deal of time with this boy and I am beyond attached. His training is going well and he is now able to be in the presence of other dogs but it is unlikely he will ever be able to fully commit to socialization and play. His story is not a happy one but we are determined to give this boy a life full of love, safety and trust. He is so very deserving. Please do not let his dog aggression issues deter you he will be the best "only" dog for the right person. He is not aggressive at all with people or children but he is big so children over the age of 8 would be best. He loves to be held, play, run, walk, hike or just sit in your lap.
