My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Axle was brought in as a stray with extensive injuries. As a result of those injuries it was necessary to amputate his leg. He is currently learning to cope with his missing leg and doing well.

Axel is 1.5 years old and up to date on all vaccinations, dewormed, and weighs about 55 lbs. Tested negative for heartworms.

He's a sweet and loving; a cuddly kind of dog. He craves attention and affection. He loves soft, cuddly stuffed animals.

So far Axel has shown no aggression with cats nor any of the dogs at the rescue. He is getting around better now and will have his stitches out next week.

Axle is new at the rescue and we are just now getting to know him. We'll share more as his personality plays out.
