Lukey's Story...
DOB June 13, 2014.

Lukey is a very attractive, sleek looking grey cat with a handsome face and a beautiful soft short hair grey coat. He is very intelligent and curious, and loves to play with string and cat toys. He is shy, but each day he becomes more bold with the encouragement of his fellow foster home cats. Lukey gets along very well with other cats; he has made friends with five other cats in his foster home. Lukey would love to find a forever home where he will be cherished. He will make a great companion and will love to watch TV with you (even news programs!).

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lukey, a Toronto Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
