My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rescue Group Courtesy Listing:

Please meet Mae! (Pronounced like the month of May.) This beautiful girl is a female Boxer/Bulldog mix. She is approx. 1 year old and she is just about fully grown. Mae is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested and ready for adoption! Mae has the most amazingly loving personality ever! She draws people in with her irresistible charm and adorable personality, plus her incredibly outgoing demeanor! Everyone wants to meet Mae and pet her, and she couldn't love it more! Mae is always happy, always smiling and always so lovable! Mae brings out the best in everyone with her bubbly personality and silly antics! For example, we watched and laughed as Mae chased after blowing leaves on the ground on a very blustery day, and she eventually had a whole crowd of people watching and laughing adoringly at her chasing after the moving leaves! She loved the attention she received, and we loved watching her have so much fun! Mae enjoys getting pet, talked to, and getting affection from her people and snuggling. She has a medium energy level with some bursts of higher energy occasionally. Mae loves to be outside, sniff the fresh air, play in the yard, and just enjoy life. Mae is under the care of a registered animal rescue group, and she is currently in a loving foster home. Her foster mom has this to say about Mae:

Mae is very sweet, affectionate and loves to cuddle with you in your chair! She loves to be pet, gives kisses, and really likes people. Mae doesn't make a peep at night when the lights are out. She gets along with our dogs, but can be a bit much for any dog that doesn't like other dogs in their face. Still, she is friendly and playful with other dogs! We think Mae is a very smart girl. She'll do really well with a schedule and consistency. She will catch on quickly! Things that Mae needs work on include leash training, not jumping up, and no counter surfing. Again, Mae is highly trainable, so learning will come easily to her. Mae also has a prey drive, which may be problematic in a household with cats.

To adopt, please read all of the following:

To adopt, please email with a detailed description of who Mae will be living with including other pets, the home she'll be living in, the yard/fence, plus any additional info! There is an adoption application, adoption fee, etc. We look forward to hearing from you!
