Alvin's Story...
A few of our fabulous cats and kittens can be seen at Petsmart at 2860 E Germann Rd, Chandler, AZ 85286. Call the store or email if you are looking to see if a particular one may be there, otherwise with a completed application we are happy to schedule an appointment with any of the animals in foster homes. Please find our application at: www.savingonelife.org If you have questions please email saving.one.life@gmail.com Pet description: When Lily named the kittens after Alvin & the Chipmunks, this one became Alvin for a reason. He is the ringleader of the group. He is very feisty, spirited, and can’t wait to explore new surroundings. If you’re sitting down, he wants to be sitting right next to you. If you’re busy, he’s off climbing the cat tree or the cage or batting around a toy. He is extremely energetic and outgoing. He seems to do fine with cats, dogs, and kids. All cats and kittens will be spayed or neutered, receive vaccinations, preventative deworming, and microchipping prior to adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alvin, a Chandler Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chandler, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chandler.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chandler already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chandler breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chandler paves the way for another one to be saved.
