So Pretty, this Girl is GINGER a gorgeous Yellow Lab Mix. Ginger is approx 20 months old, and has the most wonderful temperament and beautiful features. Ginger is blessed with stunning good looks, gorgeous white teeth, a lovely soft coat coat with beautiful soulful brown eyes that just melt your heart
GINGER`S story >>>> Its hard to believe that Ginger found herself in a Florida high kill shelter I cannot think why she would be there. Ginger was on the urgent list. The shelters were full and space was needed, so this gorgeous girl found herself fighting for her life.
Lifeline pulled this adorable girl and brought her into foster for evaluation, we were pleased with the outcome, Ginger was adopted earlier this year and loved by her new family. However we got the call we always dread 2 weeks ago Ginger needs a new home one of the children is allergic to dogs and no matter what medication he is on it will not work. Gingers family are heartbroken and cannot say enough great things about her. Ginger is now available for adoption, Ginger is a sweet girl that gets along with others she is still a puppy so she has a lot of energy and at times can be Hyper she loves to run, play. She is also very loving and submissive not a mean bone in this girls body.
We are now searching for a wonderful forever home for her. A home that will give her stability and security she needs. We are looking for a forever home that means forever we want this to be her last transition. This girl is so lovable she deserves a family that will give her the love and attention she needs.
Ginger will warm to you and just melt your heart. She loves to be around humans and will follow you around, she loves to go for walks, and walks well on a leash and she will come when called. She has been taught some commands sit, down stay she is energetic, fun and playful. she loves car rides and she is excellent in the car. Alexis is house trained she will go to the door and whine or use a doggy door when she needs potty, She is intelligent and smart and will easily pick up your routine.
Alexis is energetic so a family that does not work long hours would be perfect crating for long hours would not work for this girl.
At night time she will sleep on a sofa or a bed however she just loves to sleep on your bed she loves to be close to her humans a typical Velcro girl.
its so hard not to fall in love with this girl And its very difficult to find anything negative to say about her apart from the fact she will jump on you she does get excited when she sees you and we have noticed a little inappropriate chewing at times Ginger is still very much a puppy so she will still need a firm hand and discipline her manners are not the best. Alexis loves children and other dogs and she is fine around cats. Ginger can be a little wary around men but she will warm up to you she may bark at strange men we also know she dosent care for sticks and will hide or cower, But she loves to play fetch or go boating.
Ginger is spayed, current on all vaccinations and she is micro.chipped. she is happiest being in a family environment and enjoying freedom to run outdoors and relax with you in the home. We are looking to find Ginger a wonderful forever home where she can have stability and security in her life.
We are looking for a forever home that can cherish her and give her the love and attention she needs, A family that is really stable and can give her that forever home that means forever. Ginger is so lovable, and she is good with children. A family that will include her in their lifestyle and activities would be perfect Ginger will only get better with the right interaction. Someone that is at home most of the day would be perfect for Ginger She dosent like to be apart from you for hours on end.
A home with a fenced in yard, pool lanai or acreage where she can run and play is ESSENTIAL. She would do well with another dog as a companion, she would make a great playmate. Or she would be fine as an only dog with lots of family interaction. She loves toys especially squeaky ones and she will hoard them. With a little more training and love Ginger will be the perfect dog.
