Sean: This big boy is like nothing you’ve ever seen before! His fur, though needing a yearly cut, is just like a wild cat you would see on the Nature Channel. But his appearance isn’t even his best feature. He is so affectionate and extremely playful; sliding across the floor if you take the time to jiggle the feather or toy for him. He nestles up to some of the other cats in his room and would likely get along with another established cat in your home, but if you would like to take his good friend, Onyx, they would both be very appreciative cats to have around the house. All our cats seem to be managing pretty well in our cat rooms, but there are a few who just seem to be quietly missing out on regular human attention. Sean is one of these. He is never demanding, but when you sit down for him to jump into your lap, or cuddle up to him on his shelf, he’s so so happy you’re there and it’s obvious that he really would love a home! Sean has spent almost his whole life so far at AALOC waiting for a home.   Behavioral Details OK with Cats: Yes OK with Dogs: Unknown OK with Kids: Yes

About Animal Assistance League of Orange County

About Our Shelter...

The Animal Assistance League of Orange County is a non-profit 501(c)3 no kill humane society dedicated to aiding lost and homeless pets, helping people with pet related problems, promoting responsible pet-ownership and pet population control, and preventing cruelty to animals through educational programs.

The organization took its first steps in 1973 with a few animal lovers who wanted to reunite pet owners with lost pets. Today there is a no-kill shelter located in Midway City, with a population of approximately 110 cats and dogs. There is a telephone/email helpline that assists pet owners with a variety of issues, including spay/neuter, pet aid for low-income pet owners, animal abuse and any number of other issues related to cats and dogs.

AALOC is managed almost entirely by volunteers. The reason we do what we do is that we care deeply about animal welfare and hope to make a difference - at least in our part of the world.

Come Meet Our Pets...
