Marlo & Iggy!

 Marlo and Iggy are a fantastic, bonded pair, who have been at the rescue for 9 years, almost their entire lives. Marlo is Iggy’s mother, but they are very close in age. When they arrived, they were very young. Marlo has always been an angel, but Iggy was untrained and would sometimes bite, especially people he didn’t know. We have been working with him all these years, and his behavior has greatly improved. Actually, both Marlo and Iggy are extremely friendly and affectionate, and they love to spend time with people, cuddling, playing, and getting belly rubs. However, on a rare occasion, Iggy will still bite, but it is almost always someone he doesn’t recognize. This is the only reason they are still at the rescue and it will take a special, experienced and patient person, who would consider coming to meet them more than once, to give them they chance they so deserve.

 

          Marlo is a Shih Tzu, about 11 years old and 12 pounds. Iggy is a Shih Tzu/Terrier mix, about 10 old and 14 pounds. They both have remained very happy, energetic, and upbeat, and they get along with other dogs. Marlo and Iggy love each other and all the staff and volunteers at the rescue, who they interact with so beautifully (see video).  If you believe you are that special someone for Marlo and Iggy, please put in an application today.
