My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, Dudley is my name, and getting belly rubs is my game (as you can see in the second picture!). I'm a 7 month old bichon frise who was recently rescued from a puppy mill. Apparently I didn't sell as a tiny pup when most of the puppy buying people want us, so now I'm in rescue to find a wonderful home that way!

I'm a bit shy due to my time in a cage with no one holding me, playing with me, or paying any attention to me at all. I crave the attention, but I'm just not sure I trust it. As each day passes, I'm learning that people can be kind and loving and a whole lot of fun! I'm also learning about toys and how awesome it is to run and play in freedom. After being confined to a small cage, being able to run in open spaces is so much fun!

Since being rescued, I've been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and brought up to date on vaccinations. I'm being fed a high-quality puppy food that doesn't contain any corn, wheat, soy, meat by-products or other low-quality ingredients, and I hope my new family will continue to feed me a high-quality food for the rest of my life.
