My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Sheldon! I'm a 5 month old bichon frise puppy. I was rescued from a puppy mill because I apparently didn't sell when I was a tiny puppy (6 - 10 weeks old). My brother, Kolton, is also available for adoption. I would be super cool if we could be adopted together!

I'm your typical pup who loves to run and play with my litter mates as well as play with toys and cuddle with my foster parents. When they hold me, I just melt in their arms. It's so nice to finally have a soft blanket to sleep on, good food, and lots of love and attention from my foster parents, all things I didn't have in the puppy mill.

Since being rescued, I've been, neutered, brought up to date on vaccinations, and dewormed. I'm being fed a high-quality puppy food that doesn't contain any corn, wheat, soy meat by-products or other low-quality ingredients, and I hope my new family will continue to feed me a high-quality food for the rest of my life. I'm being fostered in Barneveld, WI, and my adoption fee is $450. If you're interested in adopting Kolton and me together, our combined adoption fee is $850. The adoption process with Safe Haven Bichon and Friends Rescue includes an application, reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs on planes or send them on transports. Adopters need to come to the foster home to adopt.
