My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Tami; I am a beautiful 4-year-old Bichon. I lived my first four years in a puppy mill they labeled me with a number, yes I have a tattoo in my ear that represents my number in their pack it is a number 14. I never had a real name until Marilyn’s Voice rescued me; my foster Mom gave me the name of Tami. It took me awhile to respond to my name when she called me. My foster Mom calls me either Tami or pretty girl and I love hearing her voice. I am not completely house trained yet, it is a work in progress although I do go on pee pads and I have just started to go outside to do my business. I am very frightened of all new things and people too. I enjoy playing with toys. I have not learned to walk on a leash yet, it is scary to me but in time, I will be able to take walks with you. I am learning from my foster Mom’s dogs how to go outside on the deck, I love lying in the sun it is so nice and warm. I get along with cats and other dogs. I am feeling more comfortable and safe every day in my foster home, I know one day I will have a forever home that I will be safe in.
