Good w/ Dogs Great with other small dogs. Barks at larger dogs at events, but may be fine with one in the home.
Good w/ Cats: Unknown, but suspect fine.
Good w/ Kids: Selena would probably enjoy respectful kids age 12 and up
Comments: Selena is a wonderful example of the true resilience of dogs. She was rescued from a puppy mill, where she was stuck in a tiny cage for the first half of her life, doing nothing but having litter after litter of puppies. Her poor diet did a real number on her teeth, and we had to have several removed. The amazing thing is, you would NEVER guess Selena has an unhappy past, because she is such an incredibly happy, friendly, confident little girl! She comes right up to you to be pet and held, and plays kissy-face with the other dogs. Her breathtaking coat is already getting some new luster, and when she is extra happy, she dances on her hind legs and that flowing hair just swishes back and forth. Selena is an active girl and loves to be included in what’s going on. At eight and a half years old, she has as much life ahead of her as she does behind her, and whoever gets to spend those years with her is going to be very, very lucky!
