My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We are all head over heels in love with our furever Nester Harvey 'Eeyore' Keitel....he is one very special boy...he is in a furever foster home with his BFF @Kelly Delaney, who has agreed to foster him for the long haul. Eeyore as some of you may or may not know came to us earlier this year...just came walking down the road...a miserable mess...a body covered with sores...missing hair...a 'whoa is me' temperament. After much trial & error and racking up a pretty steep vet bill we learned he was allergic almost everything...including himself...he is stunning now that we have gotten it all figured out. He will have to be on allergy shots for the rest of his life, has to have special medicated baths...his feet have to be wiped every time he comes in from outside...he can only eat two types of food...no treats...can't be exposed to household dust, grass, trees, the hair or dander of other dogs and the list goes on & on...after several month of searching for a special adoptive family for him to no avail...his foster dad and Momma Bird have made the decision that he is fine just where he is...so he is now a FUREVER NESTER!!

Eeyore's wish for Christmas is for his rescuers to get some help in caring for him, his special food is almost $200 per month, his allergy shots are $500 per year, his meds are $100 per month, his hypoallergenic wipes & medicated shampoo are $60 per month and list goes on for treats, bedding, toys, special laundry soap etc.
