My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emma is a special needs dog who has a sad story behind her. She was found by a Good Samaritan whose neighbors did not have money to take her to the vet. Emma has a neurological disorder which according to her previous owners came on suddenly. This Good Samaritan brought Emma to us and we just couldn’t say no. Emma has made good progress. She could barely walk and now she walks all over the place. She stumbles and falls a little but to her it is all the same. Unfortunately Emma does not have control over her bowel movements or urination. After trying everything we have learned that it is best for Emma to wear diapers. This way she can run freely through the house and not have to worry about accidents. The diapers have made Emma want to hold her potty and she can now be taken outside to go. Emma is probably a Doxi mix about 2 years old. She loves people and other animals. She is super loving and just as sweet as can be. She is a joy to be around and kids just adore her.

Obviously Emma needs a special caring person who can overlook her disability. We hope that someone is out there because she truly is a special girl and deserves a loving caring home. Emma still needs to be spayed we are just waiting for a serious adopter. If you are interested in Emma please email us at chihuahuarescuer@aol.com.
