Say hello to McKenzie! McKenzie is a beautiful Aussie/Shepherd mix female. She is approx. 2-3 years old and she weighs in the 40 pound range. McKenzie is spayed, vaccinated, and ready for adoption! All of her vet records will be transferred to her new family. Some of the perks of adopting a dog around McKenzie's age is that she will come to her new home with some doggie training already under her belt. Also, she is no longer in the that hyperactive, very needy "puppy stage" where she will need constant attention. Just the opposite, McKenzie is a very well behaved little girl! She is sweet as pie and a real love-bug! McKenzie, or Kenzie for short, is very friendly and outgoing and she loves just about everyone and everything! She likes children and she would make a wonderful family dog. She even has a bit of a "motherly" side to her when she's around children. She's very gentle, sweet and loving with kids. True to her Aussie side, McKenzie is very intelligent and highly trainable. And true to her Shepherd side, McKenzie is very family-oriented and loyal. She is a wonderful combination of both breeds that she's mixed with! Some of McKenzie's favorite past times are to play chase, run after a ball, sniff new scents outside, and play with doggie toys when she's not lounging around the house. She has a lot of personality and she's one-of-kind! Kenzie is looking for someone to show her a good time and spend lots of happy days together. She loves being outdoors, going for walks, playing in the yard, exploring, going to the park, or spending time with those she loves. McKenzie has a medium or lower energy level, and she is the type of dog who does NOT need to be center of attention at all times. In fact, Kenzie is perfectly happy being in a quiet place for a few hours alone and taking a little doggie nap. Sometimes she is independent, but she would always prefer being around her family. She loves her family like no other, and she is extremely loyal and amazingly loving towards those in her pack. Kenzie listens well and she's very smart and attentive. Just like with all dogs in a new home environment, McKenzie will need some training from her new family, but she is highly trainable, so learning new things will come easily to her. This little lady is a total sweetheart with a huge heart and a lot of love to share. She was a little bit camera-shy during her photo session, but she is a beauty in person! McKenzie will make a wonderful addition to any family and she will bring so much happiness and joy to her future family! To adopt, please read all of the following:
