My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PAOLO - 3.5 months old muscle package with huge loyalty

PAOLO was born end of September in a Los Angeles shelter after his mother SALENA was found stray with a broken paw and starving.
All puppies were born September 28, 2014.

AnimalDefense Rescue from Bellevue, WA heard about this family and with the great assistance of a local ChowChow rescue in CA pulled the dogs to safety 6 weeks later.

Mom and all puppies are healthy, were thoroughly vet checked and while the puppies are still together and enjoying a caring foster home in CA, the mom is already in the foster home of the founder of this Nonprofit Dog rescue - as she needed time away from her demanding puppies.

Like his sisters and brothers PAOLO is an adorable mutt with at least 3-4 different breeds in him.
While Ebony, Calvin, and Vincent are long haired mixes of ChowChow, Shepherd and Australian Sheltie PAOLO is more on the short hair side, with compact body built eager to wrestle and pull toys away from his brothers and sisters. Just like SAFIYA.

PAOLO was on the other side Momma's boy and has strongly bonded with the husband of the foster. He is loyal, obedient and easy to train.
PAOLO weights ~ 17 lbs., and is now 3.5 months old and will have the necessary round of vaccinations before the end of the year 2014. his weight is estimated to be 50-55lbs. when fully grown.

None of the puppies is altered yet and will have surgery when they are about 4-5 months old - and that will be in WA.

PAOLO will be coming to WA sometime end of January/Beginning of February.

AnimalDefense Rescue is very due diligent in finding the matching home. Puppy training and learning dog manners is a task that requires a certain mind set and patience on the side of the potential adopter as well as strict rules and the willingness on the side of the adopters to make it a positive experience for the puppy (to become a well behaved adult) as well as for the potential adopter.
A puppy is not a Teddy Bear and while they all look adorable they need assertive guidance and rules to learn their boundaries from early on.
The puppy training is already undergoing in their foster home and needs to be continued accordingly in a home that is interested and wants to adopt one of the puppies.

AnimalDefense Rescue Founder wants first to meet you in your home. An application also needs to be filled out prior to any meeting.

So if you are interested email Annette@animaldefenserescue.org and I will get back to you with an application via email.
