Skittles (aka Thor) is the more active brother of Buddy and Skittles team. He is an energetic one year old, Jack Russell Terrier mix with Beagle. He has been neutered and received all his vaccines and gets flea/tick and heartworm monthly prevention. He is also microchipped. Skittles loves to hang out with his brother Buddy and lounge in his foster mom’s lap. Skittles is also the one that will warn you if he isn’t happy and thinks are not as they should be. Skittles and his brother Buddy were rescued from a local swamp where dogs are being dumped rather than taken to the shelter. There were three other siblings dumped as well, but Skittles cannot tell us what happened to them. N Skittle s is ready to settle down in a home of his own and watch over his family and brother. He is bonded with brother Buddy and we would love to have them adopted together.
Are you interested in adopting Skittles or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.
Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).
We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Skittles.
