Please meet Ruby! This beautiful little girl is a female Golden Retriever/Lab mix, possibly some Spaniel in her too because she is very petite. She is approx. one year old and she weighs 14 pounds. She is spayed, vaccinated and ready for adoption with all records transferred to her new owners. Ruby got her name because of the beautiful ruby red highlights in her coat! Ruby is much smaller than the typical Lab mix. She only weighs14 pounds, mostly fully grown! She is very petite, which is why we think she might have another smaller breed of dog mixed in her as well. Either way, Ruby is gorgeous, inside and out! She captures the hearts of everyone who meets her because of her sweetness! Ruby has the most amazingly loving personality ever! True to the Lab breed, Ruby's most noticeable character trait is her abundant friendliness and her incredibly sweet, loving nature. She is all-around amazing, and we completely adore her. Ruby is outgoing, social, and happy-go-lucky! In fact, she's a bit of a "social butterfly!" She loves meeting new people and saying hello, tail a-waggin' at full speed! She also enjoys getting pet, talked to, and getting affection from her people. True to the Golden Retriever in her, Ruby would make a wonderful family dog because she adores children and she is playful and active, yet gentle. She'd love to grow up with children who can teach her new things and sleep with her at night. It's not a requirement that Ruby goes to a home with children, and in fact, if no children are present, Ruby will make a wonderful companion to an adult as well. She loves her family like no other, and her love knows no boundaries. Ruby has a strong human connection and she forms a deep, loving bond with her family members and those who care for her. Ruby has a medium energy level in general, but she also does enjoy her beauty sleep! Ruby would love an active family who can give her some exercise and excitement! She loves to be outside, play in the yard, romp around, chase after toys and just enjoy the sunshine or an outing with her family. Just like with all dogs in a new home, Ruby will need an adjustment period and some training from her forever family, but she is eager to learn, so training will come easily to her. Ruby is an all-around precious pooch and you will wonder how you ever lived without her by your side! To adopt, please read all of the following:
