About Lauralee

Hi my name is LauraLee. I am a female calico cat. I was rescued from a field with five newborn kittens. I am about 2-3 years old.

I've learned so much since becoming an indoor cat six months ago. At first I was afraid of everybody and every sound. But my foster mom has taught me that I'm allowed to sleep on couches and beds, I can trust being up in peoples arms, and that I am a special part of the family. I think my favorite things are: getting kisses on my head, rubbing up against legs, and talking to my foster family.

I am still shy with large groups of children but I do enjoy meeting new adults as they walk through the door.

My foster mom says I'm ready for my forever home! She says I am the "queen of the night" with my golden eyes and flecks of fur to match. She tells me I will be happier in a home where I am not bullied by the permanent cat on a daily basis. I can't wait to meet my forever parent.
