Posted 1/20/2015. Meet handsome Waylon – who could probably belt out a country song like his namesake, although his voice is more on the soft and lilting side. Waylon was found with about 38 other dogs in a hoarder’s barn. Other than that, we don’t know anything about his past. He is about 6 years old, starting to show a little gray on his muzzle, but otherwise still very healthy and active and energetic. Waylon likes being with people of all ages, but he isn’t the kind of dog who constantly needs attention. He is just happy to hang out with you and is a quiet, soothing companion. He is still on the thin side, weighing about 45 pounds. But he has a great appetite, so hopefully will put a few pounds on his thin frame. He has brindle fur mixed with a darker brown, quite a handsome boy with his narrow face and warm brown eyes. He likes other dogs, enjoys running and playing with them. He also enjoys going for walks. If you want a low key companion whose loyalty and trust will touch your heart, then Waylon may be just what you are looking for.
