Meet Gypsy

Gypsy was born in October of 2012, and is approximately 10 months in age. She is considered to be a dilute tortoiseshell due to her unique coloring and markings. Gypsy is likely full grown and will maintain her petite size. Even though Gypsy is approaching her first birthday she still has plenty of that kitten sprit. Gypsy is a very sweet girl, and will often curl up in your lap for attention.  She also likes to hang out and cuddle with you while you watch tv on the couch or while lying in bed.  Most of the time Gypsy will also come when she is called, but if that doesn’t work just shake a bag of treats and she will come running.  Gypsy loves to play with toy mice, feathered toys, and is determined to catch the “red dot” from the laser pointer.  She enjoys playing and running around with the other cats in her foster home.  She would make a wonderful companion and playmate for another cat, but would also do fine in a single cat household. Gypsy can be timid and nervous meeting new people for the first time or when placed in a new environment. This isn’t cause for concern and is normal behavior for many cats in new situations.  A little patience and time is all that is needed to build trust and confidence in your new cat.  Your love and encouragement will be rewarded with a strong bond, and plenty of love and affection from Gypsy.
