If the length of a dog’s tongue flopped out to the side was a measurement of their happiness….Gemini would be considered the HAPPIEST! This lovely solid black, 55 pound, German Shepherd is currently looking for her forever family to share her love of life with.
Gemini gets along well with all dogs, cats, people, kids and everyone she meets. She’s fun-loving, happy and has lots of playful energy. She’s estimated to be 1 year old, but now that she’s in a safe, loving environment, she acts like a puppy. It’s clear that she wasn’t offered proper training because she is just now learning leash walking and doesn’t know her basic commands yet. We have started working on her needs, but her zest for life is just contagious. She will need a family that is active, loves the outdoors, enjoys hiking, running and even letting her run alongside the bicycle.
Gemini is crate trained and housebroken already and just wants to play and have fun. She would love to have another doggy companion that is equally as active so they can keep each other busy throughout the days. She’s so incredibly friendly and as much as she loves her dog friends, she loves her people that much too. We can’t imagine how this lovely girl ended up on the freeway, but we are so thankful that she was rescued by a wonderful person that saw her and now in our care until she finds her forever family.
If you are in need of a daily uplift and an exercise partner, look no further! Gemini is ready to love you and your family right now. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped and healthy. She’s currently living in Houston, Texas and is available for adoption locally or outside of Texas. Her local adoption fee is $250 and if adopted outside of Texas, her adoption fee is $450 to cover the cost of her airline flight, travel kennel, comfy bed and required health documents.
