This darling duo are about as cute as they come and they move through life as a pair. Jezebel and Barkley were surrender to NBGR because they were not adjusting well to the new baby and they were not getting the attention they need and deserve.

Jezebel is 9 years old and weighs 14 lbs. She has diabetes which requires, insulin injections twice a day to control her sugar levels. She also needs drops for her dry eyes and takes daily allergy medication. But don't let that fool you, Jezzy is a strong, tough girl and takes her medical issues in stride, never complaining. Jezzy's favorite daytime activities include daily walks around the neighborhood, rough and tumbling with her foster brother, who outweighs her by 6 lbs (while Brother Barkley barks in good fun), and climbing on her foster Mom's chest to give kisses and get pats.

Barkley is 12 years young and weighs 14 lbs. He is on low dose thyroid medication twice daily and also takes medication for allergies. Barkley's favorite activities include daily walks around the neighborhood, "bossing" his foster brother around when he thinks no one is looking:), and cuddling up on the bed at night to sleep. He still likes to trick his foster mom into believing he is helpless and can't jump on anything without her picking him up, both know better but it's a fun game they like to play.

Both are very sweet, get along with other dogs, but not cats. They would make great companions for retirees who can give them lots of lap time and also who like to go for walks. Both are fully vetted, microchipped and on heartworm preventative.

Jezebel & Barkley are being fostered near Tulsa, OK.

Keep in mind that we prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered. If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get the dog and that can only happen if the dog is stable enough to travel in the cabin with the passenger.
