Macky's Story...
Name: Macky
Sex: Male
Breed: Boxer Mix (DOB is July 2013)
Age: 3 year old
Weight: 65 lbs
Good with: Dogs and people. No cats, will chase them.

Macky is a lanky young lad...full of wiggles and happy smiles. He does not jump on humans....great to cuddle with. He is a great dog to take on off leash hikes, dog parks and or doggy day care. Just a happy go lucky boy! He would excel in a family home with kids and perhaps another dog. If no other dog, Macky would still love to have doggy friends as he is very social and likes to play a lot. He is crate trained, house trained and excellent in the car. If you’re looking for that perfect buddy to take places....ride shot gun in your truck!! Macky is your man. OR if you’re looking for that perfect snuggle buddy watching TV, oh he can surely handle that as well!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Macky, a Boston Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Boston, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
