Greetings, I'm Romeo! I'm a dapper tuxedo gent with the round eyes and face of an American Shorthair cat, though I'm no fussy purebred, just an extra handsome kitty guy, if I do say so myself :).
I was rescued from the street where I was trying to survive, very thin and ill. I had a wonderful foster mom who took good care of me while I recovered. I had to have extensive dental work but I'm all healed up from that and eating normally now. I also have a bump on my head that we think is from a previous sinus infection. My right eye also had an infection, possibly from that, but it is now healed with occasional clear tears. The vet has recommended regular dental exams to make sure my mouth stays healthy.
I'm probably just about a year old, as I'm still filling out, now that I have regular chowtime. I love to play and will entertain you like a kitten for hours. I used to be a shy but now I love to hang out with people, especially if they bring in the cat toys! I have a really great purr and love my laptime too. Because of my rough time on the street, I will probably do best in a household with no dogs or small children.
I met my new best friend Celeste and immediately fell in love with her. She's very shy, so it took her a little more time to do the same, but now we love to play and hang out together. Since I'm so outgoing, that helps Celeste feel brave so she can meet new people too. I do well with other cats too, as long as they're nice like me and Celeste.
