UPDATE--ADOPTED!!!! Manny’s adoption was just finalized!!! Manny has been thriving with his new mommy, Anita. He is sooOoOoo happy! He's totally bonded with Anita. His new favorite pastime is napping with his head cuddled under her arm while she reads. Manny proudly showed me his box of toys and clothes. He's friends with a little neighbor dog and goes on two walks a day. He has a ramp he uses to make getting on the bed easier on his fragile legs. We are so happy for Manny. This is a great home for our little buddy!
We are honored to have rescued and rehabbed Manny’s broken body. He's strong and looks great now thanks to his foster dad, Hunter. Hunter had him for 10 months and in that time worked with Manny to build back his muscles after his orthopedic surgery. Manny is a well-balanced, happy and healthy dog thanks to Hunter. WE WILL FOREVER BE GRATEFUL TO HUNTER FOR HELPING US CHANGE MANNY’S LIFE!
Somehow Manny was out in this world all alone when he was struck by a vehicle. The driver yelled at a witness that the dog should have been on a leash as she drove away. Sacred Paws was called in, and took Manny to the ER. His owner was not found so we gladly accepted Manny into Sacred Paws program. He had a shattered back leg, a fractured front leg and a broken pelvis. Manny needed surgery on the shattered leg or he would have lost it. He now has two pins, crisscrossed, holding his leg together. Manny's broken legs and fractured pelvis have healed amazingly well.
Manny was full of life and love from the moment we rescued him. Manny is learning basic obedience and has very good house manners. He received the very best physical and emotional rehab at his wonderful foster home and is ready to find his forever home. What a special little dog!
Seeking a home with NO SMALL children and dogs Manny's size; he is about 6 pounds and a total lapdog. He ADORES cats! Manny likes a calm environment and will also be fine as the only pet.
