Brutus's Story...
Meet Brutus.....I am a 6 year old golden retriever, labrador, rottwieler mix that is looking for a new forever home. Sadly my current family has to move and can't take me with them. I am a big boy weighing in at 125 pounds who likes to hang outside but I also love to be indoors with my family. I have been an only dog but have played with other dogs. I have not interacted with cats or kids so I am not sure how I would be with them. I am housebroken and know basic commands like sit, lay down, shake and speak. I must say I am very talented. I love to go on walks and I am great at jogging. I also enjoy a good game of tug of war and catch. I am neutered, vaccinated and will be chipped prior to adoption. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brutus, a El Cajon Golden Retriever/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Rottweiler for sale in El Cajon, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in El Cajon.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in El Cajon already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a El Cajon breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Rottweiler breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in El Cajon paves the way for another one to be saved.
