Have you ever looked for the perfect family dog? Well, if that’s what you are searching for, Kason just might be the guy for you. Kason is a yellow Labrador mix and is about 1 ½ years old and 50 pounds. He has so many great qualities, his spunky personality, his winning looks and his smile.
Kason is an active guy that enjoys every activity that he’s been introduced to so far. He enjoys running in the play yard, walking on a leash (although he needs some extra training here), fetching toys, going to the dog park and more. He would be an excellent hiking partner, alongside the bike runner and probably would love swimming too. He has the endurance to keep up with any adventure that you might bring him along for, but he also very much enjoys a couch cuddle session too. He’s the best of both worlds, active and cuddly!
Since he’s been in the rescue program, he’s been living at our boarding facility and learning new things every day. The most notable characteristic about Kason thus far is that he is so eager to please his new people. He just loves them and loves to show his affection in every way.
Kason shows his appreciation for the people that have granted him a new beginning to life in many heartwarming ways. His tail never stops wagging, he gives lots of kisses and his smile just never disappears. He truly is the definition of a perfect family dog. He gets along well with kids and would love nothing more than to romp around the yard with them. He’s boarding with lots of other dogs at the facility too and has gotten along beautifully with all. He’s even met several cats and isn’t bothered by them…just a friend to all!
He has already learned many of his basic commands; he is crate trained and house broken too. He does need more work on his leash because he still pulls some out of excitement. His love of treats and toys has been beneficial in training him and can easily be used as a tool for future lessons. Kason is neutered, current on all vaccinations and microchipped. He is the typical, happy-go-lucky, perfect family dog. He is ready and available for a new family right away. He is currently living in Houston, Texas where he was rescued and is available for both local or out of state adoption. His adoption fee is $450, which will cover the cost of his airline flight out of Houston, his travel crate and comfy bed.
