My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Paige! Paige is a beautiful 2 yr old purebred Weimaraner. She is a Blue Weim with AKC papers. She is a very sweet dog who loves to follow her people around the house or the yard. She is very much a Velcro weim! It seems as though she did not have much if any formal training, but she is SMART and she is already learning basic commands and learning how to walk on a leash. She does well in the car, too, although it seems like she hasn’t spent much time in a car, but she is getting used to it! She is also already house trained. Paige has a very mild case of Hoppers, which causes her to HOP when she runs. She walks pretty much normally, but when she runs she uses her back legs together. Hoppers is a genetic condition, it is not progressive and not painful, dogs with mild Hoppers lead normal lives and do not have any other health conditions associated with Hoppers, they just have a different gait than other dogs. Because of her “hopping” we will not place her in a home with small children, as they could get knocked over! She will only be placed in a family with older kids (10 and up) .
Paige loves to go to the dog park and play with other dogs. She would do well with the company of another dog or in a home where she is the only dog, provided you have lots of time to spend with her. Like any Weim, Paige would prefer a home where someone is home most of the time. She is calm and pretty much over the puppy stage, she would even be a good dog to take to work if your workplace allows dogs. Weims are true people dogs and consider themselves family members, and most of them do not do well left home alone for long hours.
Paige is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. All she needs is you! If you are interested in adopting Paige, please send an email to WeimLuvvr@aol.com .
