My story

Posted 3/8/2015. Sweet and gentle Bernadette was a stray dog who wandered onto the porch of a family’s home. They took her in and soon she gave birth to six pups, then was taken to a local shelter when the family could not care for her and her pups. The three day grace period at the shelter was up, and Bernadette and her pups were scheduled to be euthanized. That is when Furry Friends Network stepped in to save them. Now mama and pups are thriving. They are happy and healthy and will soon be looking for adoptive homes. Bella Rose is a sweetheart. She likes attention and enjoys being petted, but then she has enough of that and is ready to run circles around her littermates. She has a warm spirit and plenty of energy. Her pretty face can’t help but bring smiles to everyone she meets. Bella Rose is presently about six and a half weeks old and will be ready for adoption in April. Puppies like Bella Rose need a great deal of time and care, and they have so much to learn. Bella Rose is looking for a home where she won’t be alone for long periods of time and will receive the guidance, training, socialization, and affection she needs and deserves.
