Jaws is a 3 year old Pit Bull Mix who loves to play and is just the biggest sweetheart ever!
She was brought in to Maricopa Animal Care & Control's West location as a stray. We saw her on the first day of her 3-day hold and were instantly charmed by her lopsided smile. Vet check noted that she had enamel dysplasia which is most commonly caused by distemper. Her teeth are mostly worn down, with some missing altogether. She also may have had a stroke at one point in her life as one of her eyes is constantly dilated. But don't tell her that anything is wrong with her as she is none the wiser! This beautiful girl is a survivor and exhibits no neurological issues. We knew she was going to be placed on the euthanasia list and scooped her up immediately after her hold was up. Jaws is an absolute lover and is full of energy. She does great with other dogs, would do best with older children she can't knock over and is housebroken. We feed her both wet food and dry food and she does just fine with the molasses cookie dog treats that we give her but never give her anything that is tough to chew. We love Jaws and will miss her very much'when she finds her forever home!
Jaws is spayed and current on 4-1, Rabies and Bordatella vaccines and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $100.
