My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blacky, Bear and Beauty are 3 puppies from the same litter. Their mom was a chocolate lab, dad is unknown. Their foster mom says…. The puppies have been around our young children and pets. We also have 2 cats and a bird that they have also been exposed to. They have been exposed to our neighbor's lab a couple of times and they were great with him. The puppies are very sociable around people and not scared of anyone.

The puppies are all girls and great with the kids, but we're trying to teach them not to jump when they get excited when seeing us at first.

Beauty (White Tip) and Blacky are extremely smart and are very quick learners. She would make an excellent Guide or K-9 dog. We were very impressed with their ability to catch on so quick with training. When they jump we tell them to sit and they follow our command. Beauty (White Tip) is playful, loyal and wants to please. Blacky is a people pleaser and desires the attention of her owner or other people around. They are curious and love tummy rubs and back scratches.

Bear is a little larger than the rest and is very cute and cuddly! She's probably going to be the biggest due to her size and features. We think that she has some Newfoundland roots in her which may explain why her coat and build is a little different than her sisters. She is so sweet, loving, and calm and very cute and cuddly! We call her Bear because he has a face that looks like one, plus, she reminds us of Winnie the Pooh because she is so adorable and plump. Every time we see her we just want to pick her up and hug her. She tends to think that she's a lap dog at times. She loves being around people as well and desires their attention.

We are teaching them manners so they know how to sit on command. They are puppy pad trained in the area they sleep right now but are still working on their potty training.
They are still in the teething phase but not that bad, really. As long as we keep them occupied with a variety of things to chew on then it works out very well. They all play with each other and are energetic when together, but when apart they are much calmer and love to be around people.

We would like them to be placed in a home with someone who has the time to continue training them and will give them lots and lots of love and the attention they need.
All 3 puppies are very sweet. .
Labs are known to be very sociable and extremely friendly dogs. They are each very sweet and loving. Blacky and Bear think they are lap dogs!! We would like them to go to someone who can provide them with the attention, love and time that they need.. If you are interested in learning more about them please contact their foster mom at Shurigiri@yahoo.com or fill out an adoption application online at http://forgottendogs.org/adoption_application.html. Thanks.
