My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pokey is an adorable 18 month old APBT. Pokey lived her entire life outside with her brother Bubba but now is looking forward to finding a loving home where she can enjoy the finer things in life. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on shots. She is house and crate trained. Pokey is currently receiving basic obedience and is doing quite well. She still jumps when first meeting new people, due to her excitement, but she's getting better at sitting for a greeting. Once Pokey discovered a human bed there was no turning back! She loves to snuggle and sleeps nicely with her foster parent. She is a big ball of sweetness and whoever adopts this little girl will be very, very lucky. Pokey loves to run and play and explore and loves to give kisses. Pokey would be a great dog for someone seeking an exercise partner and couch diva! She is a great little hunter so if you have lizards at your house, she's the girl for you! She is a bit reactive with new dogs so would likely do best in a home as the only dog or in a home who will adopt her and her brother Bubba. We would love to find a home where Pokey and her brother can be adopted together, as they are a bonded pair, but will consider single dog adoption inquiries.
