Please meet Payton! Payton is a beautiful female Shepherd/Lab mix. She is approx. 40-45 pounds and approx. two years old. Payton is spayed, vaccinated, and vetted, with all records transferred to her new owner. To match her beautiful looks, Payton has a beautiful personality! She is an incredibly sweet, affectionate and loving little girl, who thinks the world of her care takers, and we think the world of her! She forms deep bonds with those who show her kindness and love. When she spots a familiar face, she lights up with excitement and can't wait for you to pet her! Payton has a gentle touch and a loving heart. She is a bit of a people-person type of dog. She likes to meet people, big and small. She'll greet anyone and everyone with a tail wag, a little sniff here and there, and then she's all about getting pet! Payton has the personalty that is typical to her Lab side-- super friendly, very sweet and affectionate, intelligent, and a loyal family dog above all else! She has a goofy long tongue, which makes her doggie kisses even sweeter! Payton also has a bit of a mellow side to her, and she is just a relaxed girl in general. She is easy-going and has a "go-with-the-flow" attitude, which makes her a really easy pup to care for. (She is also housetrained.) Payton is happy to just be by your side and keep you company. Some of her favorite things are quality time with those she loves, going outside for walks/playtime, curling up in her doggie bed next to you, and of course, doggie treats! Payton is very well behaved and very sweet-natured. She is calm, quiet and gentle, but she also has a free spirit and a fun-loving side to her as well! She loves to play outside, go for walks around the neighborhood, sniff new scents, learn new tricks, get some exercise, breathe in the fresh air and just enjoy life. Payton was in a foster home with children, and she does wonderfully with them. She would make a fantastic family dog since she's gentle and sweet around children and likes to play with them. Payton tested well around cats. She was curious and liked to sniff them, but showed no aggression. Payton is a joy to have around and she lights up any room with her adorable smile, her happy tail wags and her beaming personality! She is joyful, cheerful and always looking to give and receive love and affection. She's such a doll, and she's going to make one lucky family very happy! Just like with all dogs in a new home environment, Payton will need an adjustment period and some training from her new family, but she is highly trainable, so she will learn quickly.
