My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ANDY is a 1 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 52 pounds. Amos and Andy were turned in by their owner to a very rural shelter. There was a language barrier with the owner and the shelter so we do not have any real information on them unfortunately. Amos seems a little older than Andy. They like each other but we have them separated at the kennel and they are doing fine so we believe that they can be adopted separately but would probably be best with another dog, especially Andy. They of course can be adopted as a pair also. Andy is a timid, sweet, black male. He is the shyer and slower to warm up of the two but once he trusts you he is all wiggles and love. He is clueless on leash right now and has probably never been on one but we are working on it and he is getting better all the time. Andy is good with other dogs, and probably needs another dog for confidence. He is keeping his run clean at the vet and does not chew his bedding so far. He seems to know how to sit and is eager to please. He is approved for kids 10+.

Update 4/17): Amos and Andy are doing wonderfully still. They are a favorite at the kennels and are traveling to a foster on 4/19. They love to romp and play with each other and other dogs. They are keeping their runs spotless and will not go until they are let out in the play yard. They are doing better on leash but still meander a bit when walking. Andy is getting more confident but still takes his cues from Amos on what to do. They are both super friendly and affectionate to people and to each other. They are being fed separately because Amos will try to eat Andy's food and Andy will let him :-)
