My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Shy, female, 2 years, Hound/ Shepherd mix

Shy is exactly how her name describes upon first meeting, but after awhile she warms up and her personality starts to come out. She loves playing with other dogs of all sizes, and tends to be more confident when there are other dogs around. Shy is also extremely intelligent, and loves playing with toys that challenge her. She does have a bit of anxiety when she is in the kennel and has become a bit of an escape artist since she figured out how to open the kennel door, but she does well out of the kennel while we are away. She loves snuggling up to people on the couch and knows basic commands like sit, down, off, paw, and will also do crawl. We are still working on consistently doing roll over and stay but she has the general idea down. She loves having her belly rubbed, but it does take awhile before she trusts you enough to willing expose her belly to you. All she needs is a family that is understanding of her initial shyness and willing to give her a chance.

Shy's adoption fee is 150.00 and she has been fully vetted. Interested adopters must submit an adoption application through our website, steppingstonebully.org
