Meet the beautiful Belle!
This sweet girl is a 3 year old blockhead mix who is currently searching for her forever home in Portland, Oregon.
Belle is a wonderful girl who enjoys a simple life filled with love. She's not a rambunctious high energy dog, she's a mellow girl who loves a good belly rub and would make a great cuddle buddy. She does however enjoy a short walk here and there and is great on the leash. Belle is wonderful with people of all ages, but can be a bit shy at first, but only for a few minutes. After those few minutes Belle will be giving you kisses and rolling over in hopes of getting a belly rub. This sweet girl is even great with other dogs, and would possibly be alright in a home with cats as well. She has a playful curiosity for her canine housemates in her foster home, and does well with dogs of every size.
Belle didn't always have life so wonderful, she was taken into foster care after being shot in the head and left for dead on the Oregon coast. The bullet still remains in her skull, but is not causing her any pain or harm. You can see the small scar on the top of her head where the bullet entered, but Belle doesn't mind. She doesn't live in the past, Belle lives in the present and while this event was unfortunate, she doesn't let it change her love for life!
Belle is fully housetrained and great on a leash. Her foster mom is teaching her sit and down as well!
