What happens when your owner of 11 years is suddenly not there for you anymore and you find yourself alone and overwhelmed in a new and unfamiliar environment? Maya’s owner recently had to move into an assisted living facility, so this sweet girl is patiently waiting here at the shelter for a new and compassionate friend to enter her life and make her feel safe and loved again. From her beautiful, multi-colored calico coat, to her gorgeous green eyes, down to her adorable polydactyl paws, she is a loving and demure lady waiting for the second chapter of her new life to begin. Although a bit shy in her new and often hectic environment, she is an extremely gentle and affectionate girl who loves to rub up against you, snuggle and stay by your side. Won’t you take some time to meet Maya and see if you could be the one to make her dreams of a loving new home come true?
