My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Allow me to introduce you to Niko, a smooth coated Rat Terrier. Niko is a very sweet, loveable dog who gets along well with kids, cats and other dogs. This loveable guy has a playful side and likes to play with willing dogs and squeaky toys. He loves to go for walks and can walk for hours! Niko is still young at 5 years old (Average lifespan is 15-23) and weighs 15 pounds.
Niko was dropped at a shelter and began having seizures there, which may be why he was dumped. Marilyn's Voice took him in and is making sure he receives all the care he needs. We have had success controlling his seizures with medications which cost $22/month. In addition, he will to have blood work done 2x a year to ensure his levels are correct. He still has an occasional seizure, but is healthy otherwise and acts like a normal dog.
Niko is such a wonderful dog with a fabulous personality. He deserves a good home that can dote on him and give him the attention he deserves.
